英文学习的误区是什么?

  1、钱花到了就行,有的家长会觉得:给孩子学习外语,只要花钱了就一定能有所收获。甚至还有的家长会觉得花的钱越多越有效果。但其实这是不对的。钱不仅要花到,更应该花对地方。家长给孩子选择培训机构或者外教的时候,不仅要考虑学校的教学特点,更应该考虑孩子自身的具体情况。

  1. When the money is spent, some parents will think that learning a foreign language for their children will definitely pay off. Even some parents feel that the more money they spend, the more effective it will be. But it's not right. Money should be spent not only in the right place, but also in the right place. When parents choose training institutions or foreign teachers for their children, they should not only consider the teaching characteristics of the school, but also consider their own specific circumstances.

  2、学英语就是背单词,很多家长认为,只要让孩子多背单词就能把英语学好,这其实根本毫无道理。单词背得再多而不会用英语思维和表达,背再多单词也没用。而且一味枯燥地背单词会让孩子感到英语学习的乏味,甚至丧失英语学习的兴趣。孩子都喜欢听故事,如果能让他们在英文故事中浸泡,不仅能自然吸收英语词汇,还会觉得英语学习是一件非常有趣的事情。

  2. Learning English is memorizing words. Many parents think that as long as children memorize more words, they can learn English well, which is totally unreasonable. No matter how many words you recite, you won't be able to think and express them in English. Moreover, reciting words blindly will make children feel boring in English learning, and even lose interest in English learning. Children like to listen to stories. If they can immerse themselves in English stories, they will not only naturally absorb English vocabulary, but also find English learning a very interesting thing.

  3、喜欢听写单词,在我们的学生时代一定会遇到这么一件事,就是老师的课堂听写测验。多数是老师说中文,学生写下对应的英文,有时候也会有说英文写中文的情况。但其实这样的方法对于学习而言并没有多少好处:每个单词都有它对应的应用情景,不同情境下也会有不同的意思。所以相较于听写的学习方法,更应该营造英语学习的氛围。这样的话,求知和宽松的学习环境给孩子提供了充分的活动和交流的机会。孩子间的互助和竞争也会激励进取心。

  3. Like to dictate words. In our students' time, we must meet such a thing as the teacher's dictation test in class. Most of them speak Chinese. Students write down the corresponding English. Sometimes they speak English and write Chinese. But in fact, such a method is not very good for learning: each word has its corresponding application scenarios, and different contexts will have different meanings. Therefore, compared with the dictation learning method, we should create the atmosphere of English learning. In this way, knowledge seeking and relaxed learning environment provide children with full opportunities for activities and communication. The mutual help and competition among children will also inspire initiative.
